Morning mist over the Tombstone Mnts, Dempster Hwy, Yukon

We took the first day on the Dempster Highway really slow and stayed overnight at the Tombstone Mountain Campground, just 72km into the long drive to Inuvik. The campground host organized a late evening excursion to a nearby pond to watch a pair of Arctic Loons and their chicks. The next day came cold and wet, but the morning mist creeping slowly up the mountainsides looked fantastic.
